WSET Beer Qualifications are Open for Registration!

We’re delighted to offer two brand new beer courses: WSET Level 1 and Level 2 Awards in Beer.  

We’re excited to bring WSET’s interactive learning style and unique Systematic Approach to Tasting (SAT) focused on look, smell and taste to the world of beer education for the IWEG community.

WSET Level 1 and 2 Awards in Beer will provide product knowledge and beer tasting skills for both beer enthusiasts and those working in the beer or hospitality industries.

The interactive and expert-led courses will focus on building your knowledge of:

  • Key beer styles
  • Unique ingredients and production factors
  • The principles of beer tasting, storage, service and food pairing

At the end of the course, once you’ve successfully completed your exam, you’ll gain a globally recognized qualification and increased understanding and confidence to explore the world of beer.

Vinequity Scholarships

The Vinequity Scholarship Program is open for applications! Each successful candidate will be supported to enrol in a participating wine education program, such as the Court of Master Sommeliers or the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET). Applications are invited to select the monetary amount and educational resources that will best aid them in their career trajectory. ⁠

IWEG is proud to partner with Vinequity as the national provider of WSET and Wine Scholar Guild (WSG) certification programs for their scholarship recipients. To maximize access to learning opportunities, IWEG contributes 50 percent of the WSET and WSG course costs for every Vinequity scholarship recipient.
