Board of Directors

Our board of directors offer their leadership and expertise to develop and implement policies and oversee the governance of IWEG. They are leaders in various fields and industries, including the drinks and hospitality sectors in Canada and worldwide. Their passion for wine, spirits sake and beer education led them to IWEG.   • Elizabeth Luzza

    Liz fell in love with wine through her work developing and managing integrated marketing programs for wine and spirits brands, regions and collectives.

  • Paul Sturgess

    While living and working in London and Paris, Paul quickly became a wine enthusiast and began studying at the WSET in London, Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, and the Bordeaux Wine School.

  • Erin Rooney

    Erin Rooney is currently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for McCormick Canada, a leading manufacturer of spices, seasoning mixes, condiments and other flavoring products with brands such as French’s, Frank’s Red Hot, McCormick, Club House, Billy Bee and Thai Kitchen.

  • Shari Mogk-Edwards

    As a former vice president and head buyer at LCBO, Shari Mogk-Edwards tasted and selected wines and spirits from around the world.

  • Dean Campbell

    Dean is currently the President and owner of Perigon Beverage Group in Toronto and he loves to teach for IWEG whenever he can.

  • Edel Ebbs

    Never one to shy away from a challenge, Edel is now a Stage 2 Master of Wine (MW) candidate and takes every opportunity to add one more region to her collection of wine-related travel experiences.

  • Paul Miles

    Paul grew up in wine having been born on the island of Madeira, where his family were involved in the production and commercialization of fortified wines with the Madeira Wine Company. 

  • Christine Langevin

    As an undergraduate, Christine took her first wine education course; since then she has explored wineries in France, Germany, Australia, Ontario, and British Columbia.
