Erin Salmon

Erin Salmon DipWSET has been working in the wine industry for over 20 years. Currently the Sales Manager at Cru Wine Merchants and Stratus Vineyards, Erin manages the sales team and works with licensees and private clients in the Toronto region. She has represented several wineries from Ontario and around the world. In 2017, Erin obtained her WSET Certified Educator Certificate and since then has taught all WSET Levels at IWEG.

Passionate about wines and learning, Erin has travelled to wine regions across Italy, France and California and has plans to continue her wine travels in the future. She has also focused on her own wine studies including the WSET Diploma program, the French Wine Scholar and the Italian Wine Scholar.

Teaching approach:

Erin’s goal is to ensure students come prepared to class so they can engage in discussion, wine tasting and activities on the subjects. She tries to ensure students understand the information and how to taste and build their wine knowledge as well as help them develop a passion for the world of wines.
