The Wine Scholar Guild courses are challenging, then add the uncertainty of a global pandemic! But they have helped me stay motivated throughout this last year. Always remember you can do anything you put your mind to, especially if it’s a passion of yours. Simply, and I use that term lightly, organize your time, set deadlines to hold yourself accountable, find the best study methods for you (whether being note taking, reading and rereading, tracing and using maps, relistening to classes etc.), and study a bit each day to avoid cramming last minute. Believe me, when you see all your hard work pay off the countless hours and sleepless nights are totally worth it.
