The List Goes On

Carmina recently completed the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines. She shared with us why she took the course and some study tips:

I pursued the WSET Level 3 Award in Wines just to further my education. The online delivery method allows me to pick and choose when I can dedicate time to my studies. Having worked in hospitality for many years the flexibility it provides is extremely helpful. I’m the regional operations manager for the Amphora Group. We are currently expanding our locations to include a retail bottle shop. I find that all information I have learned from all my WSET programs have been very beneficial in multiple ways. It’s helped in putting together wine lists in each of the locations and training tools for the staff.

My advice for the next generation of students would be to truly enjoy and appreciate the learning process. You learn so much about geography, agriculture, the list goes on. Then plan a visit to a winery and see the process in action!
